I was born and raised in Exeter and lived with my parents Mike and Pat till I was 18. I have three brothers Glenn, Tony and Peter. I also have 5 nephews all whom follow my badminton success. Bradley, Matthew, Henry, Benjamin and Samuel. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After my accident I went back to Clyst Vale College and completed my A-Levels, then joined Exeter College and completed a foundation degree in Coaching and Fitness in which I graduated with a Merit. 

 

On the 12th October 2013 I married my Wife Becky at Crediton Church.

Becky and I now live in a bungalow in Broadclyst with our two wonderful children and my assistance dog Tessie (through a Charity Canine Partners). Tessie is an amazing addition to my family, she helps me with day to day tasks, companionship and just a general joy to have around. Tessie went through intensive training to become an assistance dog and I feel very privileged to have her as my Canine Partner.

August 2017 we welcomed the arrival of our daughter Imogen Alice. Imogen is a very sweet and caring little girl always looking to help Daddy wherever she can. She started school in 2021 and is really enjoying this. Imogen has just started playing badminton weekly and really looks forward to this each week.

August 2019  our second daughter Maizy Florence arrived. She is a very active little girl and is mad about Dramatots toddler group. She definitely keeps Becky and I on our toes. Never a quiet moment when Maizy is running around.

Both our girls give us so much enjoyment in life and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us as a family of 4.
